Cabbage, onion, and garlic soup— increase immunity and be well!


There has been some nasty sicknesses going around here in Florida the past week or so.  Luckily, we had our thieves, RC, and some other essential oils to help keep our immunity up and not feeling as yucky as some others have been reporting.

The oils did the job, as far as keeping me from the full blown yuckies, but I knew I needed something in the nutritional realm.  This need was answered. Yesterday, I woke up to my husband having made a pot of homemade soup with cabbage, onions, and garlic in it!

I was excited to see that there were garlic and onions in it.  Garlic, seems to be an AMAZING natural way to fight bacteria and increase immunity.  It is even reported to fight off and kill all those intestinal parasites in the stomach!  Read more here on what happens when you eat garlic on an empty stomach:

If you are just looking for a little pick me up with some nutritional benefits you can try this recipe. Here is a recipe for a cabbage, onion, and garlic soup below:

1/3 cut up cabbage

1 large onion or 2 medium onions

whole bunch of garlic (yep the whole thing!)

salt and pepper to taste

Add all to a large pot of water, make sure the water covers the majority of the stuff, boil it up!
